This release is identical to version 1.9.2, only one major difference between these versions is that this version is fully compatible with Joomla 1.6 (component tested under J1.6.3). To implement this version, it took quite some time, many functions rewritten for compatibility with Joomla 1.6, language files are also completely rewritten and converted from PHP to INI files (this version has only 2 languages ​​- English and Russian).

I must warn you, the structure of the component has not changed, it is NOT MVC! This means that the component does not support some of the functional merger with Joomla 1.6 (for example, creation additional menu items). DatsoGallery MVC is still in development, but the release date, I still find it difficult. Well, a demo version of DG 1.10 for Joomla 1.6 is available on a new demo site DatsoGallery Demo | Joomla 1.6 (at the moment without access to the admin panel).

Regarding the component update after migration from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 1.6, not guarantee, but theoretically, if migration Joomla was successful, update the component to DG 1.10 should pass without problems. Another important thing that you should know. Do not attempt to install DG modules, DG plugins from the directory DatsoGallery for Joomla 1.5 - they are NOT compatible with Joomla 1.6. I'll try to update them for Joomla 1.6, one after another as soon as possible.
