For your attention, the new version DatsoGallery 1.11 for Joomla 1.6/1.7 available for download. This release includes several new features and many improvements. One of the major innovations is its own system of tags that will help you quickly find similar images, as well as improve the relevance of your site. In detail, see a list of changes.
List of fixes/changes in the frontend:
- Added own Tags System, based on ajax technology
- Added support avatars from Community Builder v1.7
- Function responsible for mapping out avatars from supported components were combined into a single enhanced
- Added the ability to reduce the original image on the client side by specific width/height and save EXIF information in the resized image. In other words, now EXIF information is preserved even if the original has been reduced on the client side. This will significantly reduce the consumption of disk space when reading EXIF is vital for your gallery
- Added more options to download images: iPhone 3G/3GS, iPhone 4 and Original Image
- Added missing language constants (English/Russian)
- Several improvements in the code
- A few minor corrections
List of fixes/changes in backend:
- Improved Images Manager
- Completely rewritten Category Manager functions, which greatly simplifies navigation and management
- Added additional tab Tags with parameters for a Tags System
- Added parameter for Community Builder 1.7 integration
- Fixed Social Networks parameter
- Many improvements in the code

List of changes in the database:
- Added table # __datsogallery_tags
Update Instructions:
- Updating performed by installation without affecting the records in database, your settings and image files. All necessary operations for updating will be performed fully automatically in one click.
- After each update, you should open the configuration section of the component, check all settings (as in the new version may be added or deleted the old settings) and then, save the settings, the parameters have been applied to your setup component. This action is required.
